Revealing five reasons why I made a choice to trade paychecks for playdates. Indefinitely.

There are pivotal decisions we make while orbiting around the sun that we will look back on as life changing choices. Choosing to go on that first date that led to forever, choosing to get sober after hitting rock bottom, or choosing to befriend a stranger that would somehow lead to seeing Paris for the first time. Oui, that happened. If I look back on the most memorable choices of mine, the ones that led to a delightful detour, there’s usually a collaboration of moments that worked together in perfect synergy beforehand to make it happen. Of course there was. It’s cause and effect. This led to that.

The seemingly small moments that get us from here to there tend to chip away at us like an artist chiseling a sculpture until we’re slightly different than we were before. The result is always transformation.
