I LOVE THIS SO MUCH 🥰 as a fellow stay at home parent, I feel like little nice joyful things (like lighting a candle! One of my absolute go-tos for setting a nice mood) can really work for shifting the mood of being a home with kids. Plus my children love these kinds of things - planning a very Go Big or Go Home Valentines Day for my sons! x
thank you, elizabeth!!! it really is the little things…they make a big difference. how awesome that your sons get to grow up with an epic love day. i hope you feel so loved as well! 💕
Yay, I’m so glad!! Happy almost 2nd birthday to your lil one (and to you! you did that!) and hope the rest of your pregnancy journey is smooth. You got this.
Ah man some of these I can't do because of my kid's needs (background music and candles won't work for us) but the stickers, the flowers, the vibes! 😊❤️ I'm going to figure out some other bits and pieces we can do to make everything slightly lovelier our way. Thank you for the mindset!
Oh how I LOVED this. You are such a talented writer - you had me giggling in my rocking chair while trying not to wake up my baby ☺️ omw to check out your other pieces!
oh my gosh, rachel, thank you! seriously, that is the nicest compliment. i will do my very best to keep you entertained!!! we moms deserve a good giggle.
Oh Elin this is gold! Or pink! Or gold and pink! Love it. Such beautiful perspective and very practical tips. Big fan of the jazz — we have a little Robert’s radio I bought to remind us of a trip we took to Edinburgh in the kitchen — and to your point about analog, the very act of switching that on to hear jazz is beauty in itself. Thanks for reminding us old milk covered mums to romanticise the experience xx
Love this! And all your photo choices are 🔥
thank you!!! xo
Highly recommend an electric candle lamp with auto shut off feature! Safe + chic and your candles last forever <3
Oooh! Such a good idea! Any you recommend? I’ve been curious about those!

Just over here lighting candles, playing breakfast jazz, and picking up bodega flowers on the walk home from preschool.
And that's what we call ROMANCE.
As a current at home pregnant mother to an almost 2 year old, this spoke to me! ❤️
